OCIA

Journey to Full Communion

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a transformative process for adults seeking to fully enter the Catholic Church. Through prayer, study, and community, participants explore the teachings of Christ, deepen their faith, and prepare for the sacraments of initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Our welcoming program supports you every step of the way as you grow closer to God and our parish family.

Adult Faith Formation

Deepening Your Spiritual Journey

Adult Faith Formation at Holy Family fosters a lifelong commitment to growing in faith and sharing it with others, helping Catholics live out their Christian vocation fully (Eph 4:13; John 15:16). We offer diverse opportunities, including Bible Study after select Sunday Masses, OCIA classes for explorers and members, Thursday classes with Fr. McCarthy (as scheduled), and a Men’s Faith and Fellowship group meeting twice monthly. Our parish subscription to FORMED.org provides access to Catholic books, movies, music, and instructional videos to enrich your spiritual growth.

Youth Faith Formation

Nurturing Young Disciples

Youth Faith Formation at Holy Family offers religious instruction for elementary and junior high students not attending Catholic schools through our A Family of Faith program. This initiative educates children in the Catholic faith, preparing them for sacraments and fostering a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. The program integrates worship, prayer, service, and community to support families in forming their children in the Catholic way of life. Parents, as primary educators, are supported by a faculty of parent volunteers and parish staff.

FORMED.org

Connecting with Our Community

FORM.org is our parish’s online platform dedicated to faith formation registration and resources. Through FORM.org, families and individuals can easily sign up for OCIA, Adult Faith Formation, and Youth Faith Formation programs, access schedules, and find additional materials to support their spiritual growth. This user-friendly tool helps streamline the process, ensuring everyone in our community can engage with our educational offerings and deepen their connection to the Catholic faith.

Parish Ministries

Serving with Love and Faith

Our Parish Ministries provide meaningful ways to serve and grow in faith, including funeral planning to support grieving families with Masses and cemetery plots at St. Louis and St. Philomena, liturgical roles like altar servers (4th grade and up), greeters, ushers, and lectors who enhance worship, and Scouting programs such as Cub Scouts (Kindergarten–5th grade) and Boy Scouts (post-5th grade–age 18) for boys, fostering character through activities and community service.

Outreach Ministries

Extending God’s Love to Others

Holy Family’s Outreach Ministries embody Christ’s love through service, with the Evangelization Committee fostering a welcoming environment for faith seekers, Homebound Ministry offering personal contact to those unable to leave home, Homelessness Ministry aiding local homeless programs, Jail Ministry supporting inmates with prayer and confessions, ProLife Ministry promoting the dignity of life, St. Vincent de Paul providing food and aid via a pantry at Holy Trinity Church, and Sisterhood of Faith creating needlework for charity while building community.

St. Louis School

Forming Faith-Filled Leaders

St. Louis School is our parish’s vibrant Catholic educational community, dedicated to nurturing students’ spiritual, academic, and personal growth. Rooted in Gospel values, our school offers a rigorous curriculum, character-building activities, and a supportive environment where children develop as compassionate, faith-filled leaders.
