Youth Faith Formation

School Year Instruction

For elementary and junior high school age students, who are not attending a Catholic school, we offer religious instruction during the school year.  We know is important for all of our young Catholics to learn about their faith as they grow, and we encourage all of our parishioners to take advantage of this program for their children. The program we are using is called A Family of Faith.  For more information, contact Pam Edwards, the director of religious education for Holy Family.

A Family of Faith

The A Family of Faith program is designed for children of Holy Family, Clermont Co. who attend schools without formal religious Catholic education as part of their K-8 curriculum. A Family of Faith aims to educate and form these students in our faith including preparing them for the reception of sacraments as well as deepening and reinforcing knowledge of their religion and values for living, as well as a growing intimacy with Our Lord Jesus Christ .

Our goal is to support and assist families in the religious formation of their children in the Catholic way of life through both formal presentations of the truths of our faith and in its lived dimension. This holistic approach interweaves elements of message, worship, prayer, service, and community.

Parents are reminded that they are the primary educators of their children and that their home is the first church. The Family of Faith faculty, consisting of parent volunteers and Holy Family Parish staff, is there to help parents to fulfill this responsibility.

In order to get more information and to sign up for Family of Faith, please contact Pam Edwards at 513-732-2218 or pedwards@cincinnatise5.org, or Jonathan Morasse at jmorasse@holyfamilyparishrcc.org.

Men's Faith and Fellowship Group

Deacon Kelly is leading a Men’s group twice a month.  The meetings include food, faith, and fellowship, strengthening each other to be more faithful Catholic men.  We start at 7:00 PM and end by 9:00 PM.  New members are welcome anytime.
On the first Wednesday of the month, they meet at Holy Trinity in Connelly Hall. On the third Wednesday they usually meet off campus for fellowship.  Check the calendar for meeting locations.  You can join their Flocknote group for reminders and updates on meeting locations.

You can register online or with a paper form - You do not need to do both.

Participation and Fees

The fee for the Religious Education Program is $75 per family, or if a family is only registering one child the fee is $50. Please make checks payable to St. Louis Church and return your payment with your registration.  There will be an online payment option coming soon.  Should the fee present a hardship, please speak with Pam Edwards.  No child will be denied participation in the program because of inability to pay.   However, it is important that a parent speak with Pam regarding the matter before classes begin.

The parent or guardian will be asked to sign the following statement before the first class:

I/We request that my/our child be allowed to participate in the Religious Education Program at Holy Family Parish.  As primary educator of my children, I/We take responsibility for their religious education by seeing to it that their attendance is regular and their behavior is appropriate.
